Terminology

• Discord Server (hereinafter, "Server", "Servers")
➤ A service offered on the Discord Platform promptly known as a Discord Server
• Bot Service (hereinafter, "Services", "Service")
➤ An autonomous platform software component that operates within the ecosystem of The RoboStux Network.
• Server Adminstrator (hereinafter, "Server Admin")
➤ Anyone who has the ability, permission or the access to add and/or configure the Bot to a Server.
• Server Member
➤ Anyone who is/was a member of a Server where the Bot is present on.
• Service User
➤ Anyone actively operating and/or using services provided by the Bot.

Data Collected — The Bot

RoboStux stores only the data its features need, on its own server in the United Kingdom. Data is never sold or shared with third parties, and is only used to operate the bot.

What RoboStux stores:

• Server settings — server, channel and role IDs, and each feature's configuration (for example welcome messages, filters, role menus and log channels).
• Moderation records — warnings, moderation cases (who, what action, the reason, the moderator and when) and active mutes, so they can be reviewed and ended on time.
• Name history — past usernames, display names and server nicknames, so moderators can recognise returning members. Server admins can turn this off with /modset tracknicknames, and the bot owner with /modset trackallnames.
• Last seen — for each member of a server, the time they were last active and how (a message, a reaction, voice or typing). Server admins can turn this off.
• Levelling and economy — XP, level, message count, reputation, badges, profile choices and bank balances.
• Other features you use — reminders you set, playlists you save, custom commands and aliases admins create, and trivia scores.

What RoboStux reads but does not store:

• Message text (Discord's Message Content intent) — read to apply a server's word filter and spam checks, check trivia answers, turn Spotify links into previews, skip levelling XP for spam, and show a message's previous text in the server's own log channel when it is edited or deleted. It is not saved by the bot.
• Member events (Server Members intent) — joins, leaves, and nickname and role changes, used for welcome and goodbye messages, automatic and sticky roles, re-applying mutes, member-count channels and the server log.
• Status and activity (Presence intent) — used only by the live-stream role, online member counters and game names in temporary voice rooms, when a server admin enables them. It is never saved.

Data Collected — This Website

This website (robo.st) is separate from the bot itself, and collects far less:

• Theme preference — stored in your browser's localStorage so the site remembers whether you last chose light or dark mode. See our Cookies Policy.
• Standard web server logs — your IP address, request path, and timestamp may be briefly recorded to diagnose errors and prevent abuse.
• No accounts, no forms, no analytics. There is nothing on this site to sign up for, and no analytics or advertising scripts are loaded. Fonts and icons are hosted on this site. The only third-party requests are for images: emoji in the homepage demo (from cdn.jsdelivr.net), a video thumbnail in the demo (from Discord's image proxy), and the DMCA badge in the footer (from images.dmca.com).

Data Protection

All data is protected with appropriate security measures. Access is restricted to authorized maintainers only, and logs are retained only as long as necessary.

Server Member Agreement

By remaining in a server with RoboStux, you consent to limited data collection (as outlined above). You may request deletion of any personal data associated with you via the support server.

Server Admin Agreement

Server administrators are responsible for configuring RoboStux in compliance with their community's rules and applicable laws. Adding the bot constitutes agreement to this Privacy Policy.

Service User Agreement

Users interacting with RoboStux commands agree that necessary data will be processed in order to respond to those commands and features.

Children's Privacy

RoboStux is provided through Discord, which requires users to be at least 13 years old. RoboStux does not knowingly collect data from anyone below that age beyond what Discord itself already requires to operate a Server.

Rights to Request Data

You can see what RoboStux stores with /mydata whatdata, and delete your data across the bot with /mydata forgetme. Moderation records about you may be kept where a server needs them for safety. A server's data is deleted on request from its admins. You may also request details or deletion of data relating to you or your server by contacting us via the support server. We will process such requests in compliance with applicable regulations.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use of RoboStux after changes constitutes acceptance of the current policy.
